prenatal yoga
Create a nurturing bond between yourself and your baby through yoga. Enjoy an innovative approach to prenatal care and experience a radiant pregnancy and healthy delivery. You will learn many ways to ease the physical discomforts that come with being pregnant through the practice of yoga asana and breath with the guidance of a yoga instructor in the privacy or your own home or studio setting.

Deanna's vinyasa classes will leave you feeling physically challenged but also rejuvenated. She combines a unique blend of fitness based movements and basic yoga postures in conjunction with breath work to give her students an overall sense of body awareness. No two classes are alike and her focus on alignment and posture is what allows her students to stay healthy in their bodies to either advance in their yoga practice or just to maintain a strong, flexible body for basic functional movement.

Yoga was traditionally practiced with guru and student only to help facilitate proper alignment and guidance.
Private instruction is highly recommended for beginner's before attending my classes, however, all levels welcome.

Deanna has been a personal trainer for over 9 years and brings an extensive background of fitness, competitive sports,dance,bodywork and yoga to her business. She really owns up to the definition of "personal training",tailoring each session carefully using intuition,passion,and extensive knowledge of anatomy, yoga, and bodywork. No two workouts are alike, as each client is given a different routine every session. Deanna believes that fitness should be fun and assessible. Each day is a new day,each day our energy shifts and changes and so should your fitness and wellness program.
Deanna currently trains clients out of Bodywork SF, a personal training and wellness studio in the Marina District of San Francisco. In-home and outdoor training is available upon request. Please inquire within for more details.

Thai Massage is dynamic bodywork based on yoga and Ayurveda originating from Thailand; the practitioner guides the recipient through a series of yoga postures while palming and thumbing along the body's energy ("Sen") lines and pressures points. All of the bodywork is done on a thai massage mat, no oils are used.
Zen Shiatsu, is a Japanese style form of bodywork meaning finger pressure. Zen Shiatsu is a gentle form of traditional style of Shiatsu working along the meridians or energetic pathways of the body to improve the flow of Qi. As with most bodywork, Shiatsu calms an overactive nervous system, restores the bodys natural balance, releases muscle tension and stress.
Deanna's form of bodywork is a unique blend of both Thai and Zen Shiatsu to offer her clients an overall relaxing, rejuvenating and balanced massage. She also creates a healing space for her clients to feel at peace the moment they arrive. Each session is tailored to suite the client's body needs.
All treatments are practiced on a comfortable shiatsu mat, fully dressed in warm, comfortable clothing. There are no oils used. Enjoy a relaxing and renewing thai or zen shiatsu massage and notice all tension melt away!
60/75/90 minute sessions available
**These treatments may be added to any yoga or personal training service in 10 - 30 minute increments for an additional $15 - $40 or purchase "The Concierge Package" , which includes all services offered through just move yoga and fitness. **
